How to update your Map features within your navigation

BMW provides 2 ways to update map data: a BMW-certified USB stick or via the ConnectedDrive Store. Maps are updated several times per year and it is important to have the latest information for the best route for you and your BMW.

You can complete the update from a subscription with BMW ConnectedDrive Store which can be retrieved from BMW of Minnetonka. Once logged into the ConnectedDrive Store select “Remote Cockpit” and select “Control”. After selecting your computer operating system, and download the BMW Update Manager. You will then be prompted to log in again and the download will begin.
