Charitable Giving Policy
Donations and Sponsorship
BMW of Minnetonka is committed to being an active community participant and dedicated to enriching our community through organizations that focus on non-profit 501 (c) (3) groups in Minnesota.
When requesting a donation please follow the guidelines below:
Ø All requests that qualify will be fulfilled on a first come first serve basis.
Ø All requests must be made in writing on event letterhead at least 6 weeks prior to the event date.
Ø Due to high demand, vehicles will not be given as donations.
For In-Kind Donations: please follow the guidelines below:
Ø Provide a letter with the following information
o Event Description
o Event date, location and expected attendance
o Any pertinent information regarding the benefitting charity
For Corporate Event Sponsorships, please follow the guidelines below:
Ø Provide a proposal or letter with the following information
o Sponsorship options
o Benefits to sponsoring organization
o Event date, location and expected attendance
o Any pertinent information regarding the benefitting charity
Ø Request for Corporate Event Sponsorships will be considered on an annual basis. Request Deadline for 2012 events is September 1, 2011.
